I noticed that the workaround - drag and drop to attach a file (or display of "Choose" button) has been disabled from 0.9.6? And is that done only for Gmail? Now if I click on the link "Attach a file" it opens the file "open" dialog. If it has been done to circumvent the bug you mentioned in webkit, how about keeping this "fix" optional using a preference?
