HI Arvind,
I am sorry to to ask that but i am new to hadoop and hive.I am getting same
issue - SQOOP-317.But i dont know how to apply the patch..
Can you please help me so thai i can apply the same in my haddop.

sqoop import --verbose --fields-terminated-by ',' --connect
jdbc:oracle:thin:@//10.1.1.96:1521/gadevdb --username test --password test
--table deepak --hive-import --warehouse-dir /user/hive/warehouse
--fields-terminated-by ',' --split-by lam_id --hive-table deepak
by this command default import sql is :
Using column names query: SELECT t.* FROM lam_status t WHERE 1=0
which will never fetch data coz 1=0 so can we provide this by nay option.
