Hi Juhani,
I looked on your patch and it seems to me that you cover almost all issues
discussed here. Except of discrepancy in handling exceptions. I'll wait on
Arvind's feedback before spending additional cycles here. Just a nit, your
patch contains a lot white characters (spaces) at the end of lines. Those will
definitely have to be removed before committing your patch.
