Further to what Ann said
I think many people may be discovering Al Hansen through Beck although I
can't say this for sure. The book "Playing with Matches" by Beck and Al
Hansen

could be a possible introduction to Al Hansen for a whole new generation.
Also Beck's own collages are similar to Al's work. Actually I recommend this
book......it's beautifully produced with many illustrations of collages by
Al and Beck as well as texts. Particularly interesting are some
reproductions of Al's handwritten texts on happenings and intermedia as well
as his more general observations on life and art.

Anyway, just wanted to add a little more to what Ann said.
