life left (l) along the y axis such that l=e-t where e is life expectancy.
(NOTE: l, t and e must be measured in the same units of time e.g. years,
seconds etc.) any point (x,y) that lies on the line l=e-t is a prescence in
time - this may work well on video as a pseudo lecture with giant graph and
pointer...although it would have to be presented wearing a lab coat.
