No nothing in particular made me say this. Just referring to Bestpoet's
post.

What's Napster? A website?

I agree sometimes the widespread admiration of Duchamp is hard to fathom.
After all, a l,ot of his most important work was puns and wordplay in
French which I totally don't get. But certainly the importance of his
invention of the readymade can't be underestimated. It was a bit different
than the surrealist objet trouve, right? More of a personal gesture which
he managed to claim for his own by being enigmatic in his statements. As
Joseph Beuys said sometimes "The silence of Duchamp is overrated." I've
never had a real solid feeling about understanding his work. But as you
say Duchamp is appropriate for Fluxlist. I agree, Max Ernst was great of
course his collage novels (does anyone know whether those are available in
print?) and paintings and objects. It's funny though search for Dada and
you find Duchamp and Man Ray but not Max Ernst. I always thought that was
funny.

Anyways, I ramble a bit. No RA is not part of Sun Ra. Sun Ra was a jazz
musician. RA is my initials.

Inhale? Well actually I have just quit smoking. Haven't had a cigarette in
more than a week. It's still tough because I still get that nicotine jones
and will for a while. Can't wait til my body stops reminding me.
