One night AKTION by the Danish Composer, Professor Henning Christiansen,
born 1932 who has been a member of the Fluxus movement since 1960 and the
Danish sculptor, professor Bjorn Norgaard, born 1947, who has been a member
of Den Eksperienterende Kunstskole (the expermental Artschool) since 1964
The two artists have made AKTIONEN together strice 1965 the last years in
p]aces like Copenhagen, Oslo, Malmo, Berlin, Rome, Hamburg, Manresa
Brcelona), Sydney, and now New York.
The AKTON is part of a cycle of AKTIONEN with the main title 'World Peace
Economy", it discusses how we can both have a united hilman world while we
keep and develop cultural diversity. Through irnages of sound and varied
materials the artists demonstrate fundamental and basic elements in our way
of sensing, experiencing and organizing our surrounding world. In this way
the artists wish to discuss another way of thinking about the world economy.
