Or, if someone wants to give you a diploma your first week there, 
take it. I'd have saved 4++ years, countless brain cells and much 
tuition had I responded to the early pick-up notice I received. 
Payment of an already outstanding parking ticket and I'd have been 
set. Though I'd have missed out on two years of delightful 
correspondence with the Office of University Protocol as I valiantly 
failed to maneuver to get my long-awaited degree without a last 
semester in residence.
