hi my name is claudio chea,
im a founding member of "mental intensivo" a small collective involving concrete music, electronic music, manipulation of field recordings, microsounds, and experimental proyects..
there are various members in this movement, some incluide cornucopia (www.cornucopiapr.com), yituey (www.mp3.com/yituey), macroporno, zooplank, and others..
right now im basically into multimedia art. i am involved with jorge castro on the cornucopia proyect, i have my own "yituey", and also work with macroporno, most of these proyects contain an audiovisula element, basically we make the whole atmosphere live.. analog instruments, samplers, videomixers etc..
most of the visual material im ussing is combined in a style reminiscent of paik, harry smith etc..
we perform continuosly, not all the time, but frequently,
just wanted to write..
