she doesn't have a garden,
she wished
to have lobelias
hanging outside
so she could sleep.
Emulate cats,
someone told her.
Didn't work.
She invented a new color.
Didn't work.
She turned violent: she went to pick flowers
(Picking flowers is doing vioence both to art and science, yet it is just
such sublime chaos that poetry exists)
