My memory has indeed been playing tricks on me.
Thinking back, the vast numbers of sheep wandering around
the rooms and corridors gave my memory the nudge it needed.
I was, of course, in The House of Flocks.

Which is nowhere near the House of Flux -
and is in a different country altogether.

BTW

When you say - the builders simply did not build a "room 42" - I question
your use of the word "simple"
