Trees
Roger Radio
Trees so tall wave against the skyline
They wave slowly and a little faster
They wave, as silhouettes, waving,
waving to another tree in the distance
waving to eternity, waving
waving, those trees, those trees
so tall against the skline
tall and waving, waving and tall
we see the trees, so high
above us, high, not quite
as high as the sky, waving gently
weaving branches waving their weavings
waving elementally, waving due
to the movement of air cause by
atmospheric pressure
waving trees, slowly, faster, faster still
as the difference in atmospheric pressure
becomes greater and the movement
of air becomes faster, wave faster, o
trees,
trees against the skline
darker than the sky
in our sight darker against the glare
caused by the sun's rays
light rays and shadows
shadows everywhere
caused by the body of the tree
body of tree and weaving branches
woven arms waving
in the atmospheric pressure
waving at you, waving at me
tree
oh, distant tree
one day you'll be
a memory
but not in our memory
probably
waving, waving, waving, waving
at another distant tree but possibly
not
