Hi all,
I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks (spent most of it in Ireland
drinking guinness and visiting megalithic sites - we saw Ireland's most
famous Dolmen :-) so just trying to catch up with all the posts.
BTW - I owe several people on this list replies to other e-mails..I will get
round to it..sorry for the delay.
BTW - Reed, Farrago is brilliant!!!!!!!..post details to the list for how
people can get a copy.
BTW - Rod, good review of David Tudor Symposium in the current issue of
Umbrella.
In reading the posts I again note a few grim ones......Jesse, I see what
you're saying but honestly I don't care whether anyone even mentions Fluxus
any more, I think positivity and community building on a list is more
valuable long-term and will produce more interesting dialogues. After all
we're all here because we're interested in Fluxus but that doesn't mean
that's all that interests us and nor should it.
I was very pleased to see photos of the McCarthy/Petal meeting
http://www.geocities.com/fluxlist/fluxlistmeeting.html?999375877530
wonderful :-) .....hope you two had a great time!!!
By the way in Dublin last week I saw Roman Vasser's installation "500lbs of
common earth" ...very cool....full web doc at
http://www.earthconsignment.org/
be sure to check the webcam.
Well, better get on.
cheers,
Sol.
