I was first introduced to fluxus as a student at MVNC by Don Boyd the sculpture professor and director of Fluxus West. Don came to my studio one morning to look at my pretentious found object oriented self portrait painings. Don was talking with me looking around my studio when he picked up a paint rag lying on the floor and held it up against my painting. Saying that looks good like that. That experience and many others have defined fluxus for me. And that was what fluxus was to me fluxus was to me fluxus was a rag fluxus was a fluxus is a rag fluxus is and still will a rag fluxus wuxus rukus fluxus was to me a rag. >
