good evening slavko kacunko

i really hope that you've found this contact information for allan kaprow.
if so, i would highly appreciate if you sent it to me!

this summer, me and my girlfriend visited kaprow's <push and pull>
environment at mumok in vienna. there, we immediately fell in love with one
of the sofas that were part of the environment (green, 50ties style). as we
desperately needed a sofa for our living room, we decided to ask for
permission to take it home to zurich, switzerland. as neither of us has a
drivers license, i suggested to bring it over the alps by foot, one of us
always having the possibility to relax ON the sofa, while the other was
carrying sofa and partner (and vice versa).

a mrs Barbara Hammerschmied (whatever her function at mumok might be)
replied to my written inquiry that mumok needed the sofa at least until the
end of the exhibition on Oktober 26, 2003. she did not reply to my
suggestion to ask all visitors to wear white gloves, so that <my> sofa not
be damaged, though. now, i'd like to ask the artist himself for help, as we
have to watch tv sitting on the floor, since summer, and i am really afraid
to find my future sofa completely torn apart by next autumn. also, i feel
that i should ask the artist for permission to carry away part of his
environment, rather than the museum...

thank you for your help

best regards
