poor bugger!  still had to have been better than watching them live!

i used to live about 20 yards from the old Roker Park.  one Newcastle -
Sunderland derby they took crowd segregation to the limit by keeping the
Newcastle fans in Newcastle! I was listening on the radio when Newcastle
scored - absolute silence from the stadium, giving me the ideal opportunity
to shout the 'you're not singing anymore' chant from my bathroom window.

went down well!

we heard it on the radio too, thanks to the delay

interesting times being the only magpie amongst all those mackem black cats!
