These Are Your Instructions
An Instruction Art Event and Exhibit

Thirty artists from various artistic disciplines respond to the theme of 
'instruction' in this exhibition of scores, scripts, guides, notations, 
recipes, maps, demands, to-do lists, and other artworks based on the notion 
of instruction.
Organizer Ric Royer and the participating artists explore the aesthetics and 
politics of rules, codes, and interactivity with a 6 day installation and an 
opening night performance event.

The opening night reception on December 16th will feature performances
from some of the participating artists who will perform instructions from 
the show. By realizing pieces from the gallery of instructions, the 
performers highlight the work as not merely static visual art, but as an art 
of potential action.
