We should learn from the Silent Hill series and cheat a lot, then pass off
our cheats as plot devices. For those not familiar with the series; in it
the main character notes the weather is odd for the time of the year as
there is a lot of fog and even snow. It made the short draw-distance of the
first playstation look like a scary plot device and gameplay element as he
started to depend on a crackling radio to detect the proximity of enemies.
