i'm sorry to hear that. there's not much we can do about this
unfortunately. as far as i know there are other programs like blender
that had problems with these cards. i'm not sure if they managed to find
a workaround, but there is a suggestion described here using the opengl
profiler:

let me know if it works.
another solution is to install linux on your macbook, or you can try a
puredyne live cd.
