hi,i added a new primitive called icosphere, which is a sphere subdivided recursively from an icosahedron. sometimes it gives nicer results than the old sphere.
solid: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gaborpapp/4423601224/ texture mapped: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gaborpapp/4428292865/(build-icosphere) has one argument, the level of subdivisons. 1 gives you the icosahedron. higher iteration levels (e.g. above 6) will generate a lot of triangles and it becomes quite slow.
