Interesting developments happening with impromptu ->
--- Begin Message ---
Hi everyone, happy new year!

In late December I sent the email below, which briefly outlined the possibility
of a new open-source and cross-platform project. After some solid hacking in
January I'm pleased to let those who are interested know that I have made a
*start* on this project which is located here:

https://github.com/digego/extempore

The new projects name is Extempore (as a nod to Impromptu). Extempore has its
own google group and any future discussion relating to Extempore should be
addressed to that group (i.e. not to the Impromptu list).

http://groups.google.com/group/extemporelang

If you're interested in the Extempore project you should join this group.

Extempore has a BSD style licence and currently builds on both OSX and Linux.

Finally I would like to make it absolutely clear that I will be continuing to
develop Impromptu as a closed source (but free as in beer) OSX only platform.
I wish for both projects a happy and continuing growth!

Cheers,
Andrew.
