We did the 2nd-4th and 1st-3rd bit for some time and were ending up with
meetings with 2 people present. Since going to a consistent alternating
week schedule attendance and participation have picked up remarkably.
It also produced confusing and troublesome 3 week gaps at the end of
some months. The proposed changes would result in 2 of those gaps. I
don't want to see the momentum we've built up destroyed. Consider this a
block on consensus for that provision.
I would be alright with a temporary switch to Wednesdays if it is
agreeable to everyone else and they can commit to being there.
Gabrielle, Laura, Skyler how do you feel about it? Your input is
important given all the positives you've created. I could do Wednesdays
for now but if my back gets better enough that I can rejoin the
Wednesday bike rides there will be a conflict. This has to be a
temporary change only.
Another option would be to continue with the current schedule without
Chris present. He could still participate via email or maybe zoom.
There are really only 4 meeting dates in question. If he could give us a
summary of the event requests and any communication he's had with people
regarding the. Someone could read them off and we can discuss. I can do
events or take notes but not both. This means someone else is going to
have to step up. Volunteers?
Given that this is a long holiday weekend and a lot of people are
away/not checking their email I suggest we hold off on making a final
decision until Monday afternoon or at least until we've heard from all
the regulars. We can still discuss online.

I got a new work schedule that has me working on Tuesday nights until
September.
How would everyone feel about moving meetings to Wednesday nights at
the same time? I'm also open to changing the frequency from every
other week to a set number of weeks per month. For example we could do
the first and third Wednesday of each month instead. Most
organizations use a month based schedule so we would be making it
easier for people involved in other orgs to know when our meetings are
happening.
Apologies for any inconvenience but right now Wednesdays are the only
weekdays that will work with my current schedule.
If we agree on this change I would propose our next meeting be next
Wednesday and the following meetings be Wednesday 7/10 and 7/24. And
then begin holding them on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
