Hello fme professionals,

for the whole area of hamburg/germany (about 7 GB) we are developeing a
conversion from sicad/sqd to autocad dwg.

One point is that some graphical attributes must come from the layer
definitions.
The linetype, linewidth and color for the produced features shoud have the
entry "from layer". This is no problem.

On the other side, the exact color, width and type should be set in the
layer definitions.
Unfortunately, in fme i can only set linetype and color of the layer; i
cannot set line width . In the documentation stands that it
is possible to define a template file with layer definitions. If i try to
use this feature i get this message:

Layer 'XXX' defined in template file is overridden and not used.

My question:

Is there a way to define the layers linetype?

Mit freundlichem Gru
