Hi.
It could be the actual object-groups of inserts, copied whenever you place an insert on any layer. I have no idea whether this is correct or not, but CAD-files (dgn-files at least) often stores things like this on layer 0 ... I think. It's at least an idea...! ... sort of :o) Good Luck /Nisse -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Frn: Sara Yurman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Skickat: den 17 mars 2005 03:19 Till: [email protected] mne: [fme] DWGs with Layer Confusion I have a series of DWG files with an odd problem. In many cases the autocad_layer differs from the fme_feature_type when I run them through FME and print the meta-attribute values to text. This anomaly is mostly found on the 0 layer. When I look at them in the viewer, the features on these layers have multiple colors, and are clearly intended to be on other layers. I haven't been able to find a way to separate this stuff by the fme_feature_type at all. Anyone seen anything like this? All suggestions gratefully received.
