Hi all At the National Survey we are in the process off creating a DEM over Denmark ( 45.000 sq km. with a resolution off 10 x 10 m).
We already use oracle, fme and spatialdirect to distribute our data to different data formats. The question is how can we integrate this amount of data in our existing data distributing solution - do we load the grid into oracle (10g?), and then use fme to export to whatever the customers ask for - or should we make some sort of file based solution - ex. 5x5 km, and in what format, and again use fme to reformat it - or do we preprocess all data to mapinfo, esri and a xyz csv file and then distribute these files If any off you have any ideas or experiences we would be interested to hear about it.
