Thanks--I have a series of polygons in MapInfo, many with alternative names (think of neighborhoods, where one area may be referred to with more than one name). If I use MapInfo, I have to first convert to points. When I do that, for some reason I loose all secondary names. Extracting XYs on their own isn't a problem, but I want to take the whole table with me. Since I'm new to FME I'm a bit behind the curve (and work!). The XYs will be used to represent areas for a web-based app.
thanks again. --- In [email protected], "Jason Birch" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Depending on what result you're looking for, using either an OGCGeometryExtractor or a Chopper (1 vertex max) followed by a CoordinateFetcher in workbench will probably give you the result you want.
