Hello
From what it appears to me, you want to retain only the geometry of these polylines and do away with the attributes.
In that case you can use an ATTRIBUTEREMOVER in FME Workbench to strip of the attributes from your SHAPE file(s) that do not match the schema of your GDB before writing to the GeoDatabase.
HTH
Happy FME-ing :-)

My destination shapefile already exists in a GeoDatabase. It consists
of polylines and some attributes. Now I would like to add new
polylines that I have in another shapefile with attributes that do not
match the attributes of the destination. Is is possible to do this in
workbench.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
