Hi,
I am trying to transform MapInfo TAB-files to ESRI SHP-files using
FME workbench (and I have a feeling I am not the first).
For some TAB file I lose the attribute. When I open the shape file
the geometries are their and it is a table whith the rigth column
name but it does not contain any value.
If I transform the TAB-file to a dbase(III)-file it works properly.
So i guess I can do two transformations and then merge the result.
But I wonder why it doesn't work.
I cant open the TAB-file taht fails in my MapInfo v.6.0 it says I
need v.7.0 for that.
I am really a beginner in FME. So I am sorry if this is a stupid
question or I am in the wrong forum, maybe I shold try some MapInfo-
forum.
