Hi Tony
I have found the same problem
Safe support had this to say:
This a known issue that we have discussed with Intergraph and seems to revolve
around the registration of the GeoMedia GDO objects used in the FME GeoMedia
Access Warehouse Writer. I have outlined some steps below that might fix the
problem for you.
1) Run the RegGM.exe in the 'program' directory under your GeoMedia
installation directory, e.g. 'c:\program files\geomedia
professional\program\RegGM.exe', to re-register the GeoMedia classes.
2) Check the registry key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intergraph\Applications' under that should be a
string named 'DefaultJCache'. The value should be something like 'GeoMedia
Professional_04.00' for version 04.xx.xx.xx or 'GeoMedia Professional_05.10'
for version 05.xx.xx.xx of GeoMedia Professional. If this points to something
else you should write down the original value and then change it to the value
for the current application you would like to use, likely GeoMedia
Professional_05.10'. This solved the problem for one customer.
3) If none of the above works you may still have the least recommended option
to run the 'gmregall1.bat' file in the 'program' directory under your GeoMedia
installation directory. This solution is only successful when one GeoMedia
product is installed, if you have more than one installed this may break your
other GeoMedia products. Basically, it bypasses the traditional GeoMedia
registration process that allows for multiple copies or versions of GeoMedia to
be installed and just registers the objects from that copy of GeoMedia directly
I follow this but it did not work for me so I did a complete uninstall of
Geomedia 5.2 doing the following steps:
1) Run the uninstall script for GeoMedia from the add/remove control panel
2) Go to the Start Menu.
Select the run command
Type regedit in the box and select OK.
Look for each of the entries below and delete them
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intergraph
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intergraph
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GDO
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FLEXlm License Manager
3) Copy the GeoMedia license file to C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Intergraph\Ingr_licenses
4) In windows explorer check and remove the directory structure
C:\Program Files\GeoMedia
C:\Program files\Common Files\Intergraph
5) In your System Control Panel, Delete the Path setting for setting for
C:\Program Files\GeoMedia\Program
6) Reboot each machine
7) Install Geomedia 5.2
8) Install latest hotfix.
This worked for me

Subject: [fme] Geomdeda Missing
Hi
I'm trying to convert a Geomedia Access Connection to another Geomedia Access
Connection with different schemas. Sounds fairly straightforward!
However Geomedia only appears in the Source List but not in the Destination list
Other machines on the same network have Geomedia on both lists
I've searched the forum for similar & have only found a reference in 2003 to
RegGdo.Bat but this isn't on our system.
Any help would be appreciated
Version numbers are
Geomdia 5.2
Fme 20041108 Build 1378
Thanks
Tony
