Has anyone successfully deleted features from an ArcSDE feature class??
I am using FME to update an SDE feature class.
The Matcher transformer is used to compare a feature class in a
personal geodatabase to an SDE feature class. Then a tester checks
those polygons that do not match. Based on the layer name the tester
says whether it is in SDE feature class or not.
If polgons are not SDE feature class then they are added. These
polygons are output to the existing feature class. This works fine.
If polygons are already in SDE but not in the PGDB feature class then
they must be deleted. I am using ArsSDE Querier for this but it
doesn't seem to work. I have the 'whereclause' statement set to
identify the polygons by ID to delete. This does not work.
The workspace is set to update the sde feature class and I have
set 'Table Exists" to YES in the Feature Type Properties.
Any suggestions??
