Hallo FMEers
I am in the process of using transformations in a mapping file.
Because the reader I use does NOT supply Coordinate System Info
on the features, I use the COORDINATESYSTEMSETTER transformer
to tag the features.
So far so good.
Then I want to transform the coordinates to a different coordinate
system. Actually the one which is defined for my ArcSDE schema.
As this depends on the target SDE I want to parameterize the
target coordinate system.
Problem 1: I cannot publish the coordinate system to set the
parameter from the BAT file, or can I do so even without
publishing it ?
Another option I have is to use the ENVIRONMENT Variable retriever
to read the variable which holds the TARGET coordsys (luckily
my system frame supplies it)
In that case I suppose I have to use the REPROJECTOR ?
Is that OK to do so or are there any issues in using the REPROJECTOR
instead of the built-in mechanism ?
Any experience or ideas ?
Maybe I should direct this to safe support directly ?
Thanks in advance
Michael
