Hello Mark, How I wrote in my new Post I succeeded to convert from ESRI ArcSDE dimensions to AutoCAD dimensions. But I cannot move and change the dimension text. I will try to send to you tommorrow some FFS data and my benchmark file.
I would like to abandon the other Post (message Nr. 12062) and to continue the discussion in this one. Thank you, Sorin Dudui --- mark2atsafe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > --- In [email protected], "sergiopippobea" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Someone has tried this task? > > > > Should be possible - though it might take a little > effort to set it up. > > I think a good first step would be to manually > create a dimension in > AutoCAD and read it into FME (say the FME Viewer). > Then you'll be able > to see what format attributes are present and how > they match to an > ArcSDE dimension. > > Then it's just a case of setting up the translation > in Workbench and > mapping the correct source format attributes to the > correct > destination ones. > > Hope this helps - if you have any sample data (an > ArcSDE dimension > written to FFS for example) then post it here and we > can try to set up > the process. > > Regards, > > Mark > > Mark Ireland, Product Support Engineer > Safe Software Inc.
