Hi Lisa,
I wasn't sure if anyone had answered this for you. I'd suggest using a
Dataset fanout in this case. It isn't as efficient as the batch deploy
but it will let you fanout by basename.

Alternatively, try setting a global variable with the fme_basename
before the rasterpointextractor, and then retrieving it afterwards.
