Hi Jim,

An alternate solution would be to use the Universal Translator 
instead of the Workbench. In the source dataset use the + button to 
allow the selection of a folder and subfolders. For the destination 
data ensure that Recreate source directory tree is selected. This 
seems to work well for the translation. I have also uploaded a 
screenshot to the files section of the group called 
directory_structure.bmp
