I'm having an issue with FME's definition of a UTM projection, specifically UTM83-18F, when translating data to/from an ESRI SDE database. The issue is that FME is setting the Linear Unit to "Foot_US" instead of just "Foot" (at least that is how it is being set in ESRI). There is a slight difference in the unit between these two, but more importantly ArcMAP is not recognizing the projection when the Foot_US is used and is setting the Map and Display units to Unknown.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to force FME to use the Foot unit when going to an ESRI format?
I'm using FME 2006 GB, build 2651 and the ESRI apps (including SDE) are at version 9.1, SP1.
