Hi Bryan Thanks for your reply :)
Sounds a little convoluted!! We do have other customised software to calculate parameters, was just hoping FME could be a one stop shop in this case! If I was a Geomatics engineer like the smarter people in my office I could tell you exactly how to build the crazy matrix algebra required, but it makes my brain hurt even thinking about it. > > Bryan > > > Bryan Waller, GIS Data Coordinator > Midwest Surveys Inc. > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ph.403.735.9344 (direct) > ph.403.244.7471 (main) > ph.403.830.6517 (cellular) > fax.403.244.2466 > www.midwestsurveys.com/ > > 50 Best Employers > -----Original Message----- > From: clambert_aamh [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: September 18, 2006 5:29 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [fme] Parameter Computation > > Hello All! > > Is it within FMEs capabilities to take two sets of the same points but > within different coordinate systems and compute parameters for > transformation of further features? > > Many Thanks > Carly > :) > > > > > > > > > Join us at the FME Worldwide User Conference Sept. 21-22, 2006 Vancouver BC Canada.
