Hello Jam,

Most of the typical FME list answerers are out partying tonight after
the first day of the FME Worldwide UC, no doubt talking about the
dramatic turn of events at the FME Idol competition which saw Peter
Laulund (on Ultraedit doing mapping files and Tcl) tie with
Jason Birch (on Workbench) in solving a relatively tough problem in
real-time in front of a live audience.

So I'll jump in.

You need a 2d point replacer transformer, just pop that down in
workbench between your source and destination. A coordinate system
setter for good measure to set a LL-83 (or whichever Lat/Long system
the data is in) woudl be good too. And remember that X is Longitude, Y
is Lat.

BTW one of the FME Idol completion was basically a more complex
version of your problem here...
