Hi Mark 1) Yes it was installed from CD - currently at version GB 2006. I do have all of grid files for AGD66 and AGD84 to GDA94. However since this is a transformation from LL to MGA - these grid files should be used anyway.
2) Yes only with DGN 3) Yes only with the destination coordinate system AND A NEW DEVELOPMENT - it seems to only be a problem with the Universal Translator not with Workbench. The log file states "FME Configuration: No destination coordinate system set" which is not the case as I have in fact set one. Replicating this translation in Workbench allows for a correct transformation. I will send an example file to support to take a look at.
