Hi group,
the following two are tricky:
1)
When reading an ACAD file FME extracts the existing layers in the log
file even if they are empty. What I want to do is to check if a layer
is there even if it is empty. As it doesn't hold entities it can not
be affected by FME functions and factories. Is there another way to
extract the information out of the header and use it within FME?
2)
In ACAD we have the model and paper space (for Layouts). How can I
check if the layout view has exactly the same size as the layout window?
READ_PAPER_SPACE is set to yes and I guess I can get the outer
boundary of the paper_space entities by using a MBR or convex hull?
But where do I get the layout window coordinates from? Is there
another way to check it, maybe over the page sizes (A0, A1
)?
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Heinz
