Hi JA, Which email address at Safe did you write to? I don't see any email regarding GDF. If you let me know I can follow up.
Anyway - yes FME will convert data to GDF, and yes we do have a number of clients that do this conversion. However - because GDF has such a complex and open-ended schema it is not possible to do a "quick" translation, it is necessary to make sure the source data is properly mapped to the destination. You can find out more about FME and GDF on our web site at... http://www.safe.com/services/formats/gdf.php Generally we recommend using our Solutions Assistance program so that we can help you set up the translation. You can find more information about this on our web site at... http://www.safe.com/services/solution-assistance/index.php I hope this helps - if you need more information on the technical side of the translation then please don't hesitate to contact us via either [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] - if you need price information for FME then you should contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] Regards, Mark Mark Ireland, Senior Product Specialist Safe Software Inc.
