I haven't used Cloner before, but the rest of the list looks pretty familiar.
I'm surprised to see none of the List transformers on there. And I know that you left off the TopologyBuilder just to tease me... It would be bandy to have some examples of useful ways to combine these transformers, especially ones that involve splitting the processing stream, using FeatureMerger, lists, etc. J -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of mark2atsafe Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 13:39 To: [email protected] Subject: [fme] Re: Point on Line Glad to hear it's going well (and thanks for the comments). Re transformers - we're going to have a transformer quick reference guide for the next release to help show what is available and what they can be used for. I think that will include a top-20 list of the most useful. The list will probably change a little, but FYI its current form is: Visualizer Tester AttributeCreator AttributeFilter AttributeRenamer GeometryFilter ValueMapper AttributeRemover Concatenator AttributeCopier Sampler ExpressionEvaluator FeatureMerger AttributeSetter LineJoiner SubstringExtractor Cloner Joiner PointOnAreaOverlayer CoordinateFetcher PolygonBuilder DonutBuilder Counter Mark For insights into what's up at Safe Software and what's on the development horizon, visit Safe's blog at spatial-etl.blogspot.com.
