Hello Kurt, You need to use a fanout in Workbench to get this - there are two types of fanout. Feature Type fanout is the one you need to use.
You can find more info in the FME documentation - the online page is at... http://www.safe.com/support/online-documentation/Workbench/setting_feature_type_fanout_properties.htm As Bob mentioned, to set colour you need to use the autocad_color attribute. I'd suggest you create and set it in one action with the AttributeCreator transformer - or if you have a source attribute that determines colour use the ValueMapper transformer.
