Hi if it is just alfanumeric data ( no geometry ) you can write your own Joiner function using tcl ( or phyton ) using the oratcl or tclodbc libearys, it is probaly quite slow as it has to connect to the databsae for every feature, but there is no problems involved in writing sutch a function. on fmepedia you can see how you can use these libearys in conection with FME_END_TCL
if it involves geoemtry you could write 3 mapping files 1 reading all the features and for every feature running mapping file nr. 2, that reads the data from the databasen into ffs files and the last one reading all the ffs files and converting these data into your output formate you should be able to create idear nr 1 within a workespace using the tclCaller transformer for idear nr 2 you will have to write your own mapping files Peter >From: "mark2atsafe" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: [fme] Re: Using variables values as parameters to connect to a db >with sqlexecutor >Date: Thu, 01 Feb 2007 22:49:21 -0000 > >mmmmmmmmm.....
