OK... here are the answers direct from our raster development team...

1) The Aggregator will not work in this example because it only
produces bounding boxes with raster data.

2) The TIFF reader will read TFW files (I'm not sure if it's 2006GB or
2007 though)

3) TAB file referencing is currently not supported, but is planned for
a future release.

4) The RasterMerger operates on spatially equivalent rasters. It is
not a mosaicker. They are open to renaming it (RasterBandGrouper is
their suggestion)

5) A RasterMosaicker transformer is the solution you need. It is in
progress now and will be part of FME2007 (see we do sometimes listen!)

Hope this helps. It looks like we're not quite there with your task,
but will be in a couple of months. Let me know if you have an opinion
on which new name the RasterMerger should take.

For insights into what's up at Safe Software and what's on the development
horizon, visit Safe's blog at spatial-etl.blogspot.com.

Safe Software has also made slides available that outline enhancements planned
for FME 2007. The slides are from the "Road Ahead" presentation given on Day 2
of the FME Worldwide Users Conference. To view these slides, visit
