Of course, this is why we recommend users attend FME training, to find out about great new functions like this!!!
Anyway, when we recently (last week) updated the fmepedia "What's Great" page I added a note that the overview pane is off by default, and a screenshot showing how to turn it on. http://www.fmepedia.com/index.php/Whats_Great Some other new stuff of interest... 1) Feature Types can now be enabled or disabled by an advanced workspace setting. This setting is publishable, meaning that you can turn layers on and off in the translation via the command line. Fantastic! 2) A Generic Writer. I know Dale's working on a note about this one. This too is pretty amazing (I'll leave it to Dale to go into detail)! 3) Lots of raster updates - which I'll be posting messages about over the next few days.
