Hi Jason,
I see you mention working on dates. I did create custom transformers
to create dates in specific Georss formats (rfc822 or whatever it's
called was one of them) but didn't need to use them because FME was
very good about converting my dates to the correct format. Still, if
you think they'd be of use, let me know.

If I haven't mentioned it before, http://feedvalidator.org/ is a great
web site for sorting out the fine points of a georss feed.

You're right. Frighteningly easy. Then you add the workspace to a
Spatial ETL server, connect to it via Google Earth, and wooooooh...
watch that data flow.
