I am trying to convert a 3d building I drew in microstation (my dream
shop) into an autocad DWG for my builder to do the permit and working
drawings.
My drawing is all IGDS SOLIDS and large chunks of it are lost both in
the native mirostation converter and in the FME routine. If I reduce
all the solids to simple line work then everything seems to be
converted but, of course, all the elements are transparent.
Any tips on how I can retain the solids and get them all read/written?
I have never used Autocad and know nothing of how it hadles 3D
geometry.
