Hi Marc,

does this also mean that the AnchoredSnapper can snap to edges or is it
still "limited" to verticies?

I do often need a functionality to project points to lines (perpendicular
projection).
The only way I know to do this in FME is to densify the lines and then use
the AnchoredSnapper to snap my points to the densified verticies, which is
still an approximation. If the snapper could snap to edges, it would just be
great.

Your answer gives me some hope :) Does rich geometry allow snapping to
edges?

A nice weekend to everyone!
Jeff

  Hi Hans,
In FME2007 lines and arcs should snap automatically in the Snapper
(without the need to stroke-snap-estimate)... but make sure you have
the workspace set to run in RICH mode rather than classic.
