Hi everybody, I have a project where, in a DGN to DGN translation, I'm trying to snap lines to arcs. Done this with an ArcStroker, Snapper and ArcEstimator. However, there are still very minor (we're talking hundredths or thousandths of a millimeter) gaps in the result.
I'm guessing it's got something to do with the underlying trigonometry involved, where rounding the sine or cosine of the angles involved can cause these very minor (but still unacceptable for my purpose) differences. Is there a way to circumvent this, i.e. to properly snap lines to arcs, without losing the arcs? -- Hans van der Maarel Red Geographics Zevenbergsepoort 44b www.redgeographics.com 4791 AE Klundert [EMAIL PROTECTED] The Netherlands phone: +31-168-401035 For insights into what's up at Safe Software and what's on the development horizon, visit Safe's blog at spatial-etl.blogspot.com.
