I understand your thinking and procedure Jeff, but I'm not sure I know how to implement it in workbench. I took a whack at using the Looping funcitonality in a custom transformer before, but for whatever reason, I couldn't figure it out - I have a history of making things more difficult than they need to be ;).
So two questions I guess, do I have access to "FMEFunctionCaller" using FME 2006GB (I don't see this in the transformer list)? And, any chance you can mock up what you described above and send a screen shot or .fmw?
